MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR.

Naomi Edwards is a curly hair educator who is passionate about the advancement of women of colour, women-led entrepreneurship and the improvement of our society's knowledge of and ability to embrace afro-textured and curly hair. Her journey within the world of textured haircare began with the owning and operating of Beauty Club Outlet, a Canadian e-commerce and brick and mortar beauty supply focused on high quality textured hair care that successfully served communities all throughout North America and the UK. She is now working as Operations Manager and Curly Educator at Inhairitance Curl Care, and is proud to be working within a Black-women owned and Canadian curly hair care brand helping people with curly and textured hair worldwide claim their "inhairitance" and fully accept themselves. As a curly hair educator, Naomi hosts seminars and workshops throughout Southern Ontario with the broader goal of ensuring that no one with curly or textured hair is left without the education they need to take care of their hair. She assists young entrepreneurs with their goals by walking alongside them through mentorship and consultation, providing them with the support and listening ear that many women and women entrepreneurs of colour don’t always have access to. Naomi’s goal is to continue to strive towards the acceptance and increased visibility of natural and textured hair within our world and the advancement of women-led entrepreneurship.
